Almahue Valley

Located 90 km to the southeast of Santiago, in the area of Peumo, our vineyards are found in a privileged sector of the Almahue Valley; due to their proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the climate is Mediterranean with a coastal influence, which together with the effect of the Cachapoal river, leads to cloudy mornings with more moderated temperatures, and quite cold nights. This results in a more template micro-climate with a large difference in temperature between night and day during summer, leading to a slower prolonged maturing of the tannins, and a greater concentration in aroma.

The lack of rain during wine harvesting months lets us wait for the perfect time to harvest, with good healthy grapes, minimizing as much as possible the use of phytosanitary products (or pesticides).
