Variety: Family blend from selected blocks
D.O.: Colchagua Valley
Soil: Highly permeable granitic, stony soil, with a depth of 0.6 to 2 meters.
Harvest: The grapes were harvested between 16 and 25 April, when their organoleptic qualities, aromas and tannins were at their best. The clusters were manually harvested and then transported and selected.
Winemaking: The grapes first underwent a pre-fermentative low-temperature maceration to bring out the maximum colour and aromas. Then the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks.
This is the perfect expression of our passion and love for wines and viticulture. It is the faithfull reflect of the flavours that we can find in the old vines planted in the fifties.
Deep red colour, with some violet hints. This wine has a pleasant nose, highlights the sweetness, black fruits aromas dark cherry, blackcurrant, and roasted hazelnut, in perfect harmony to vanilla touch, due to ageing in French oak barrels. In the palate it is mouth fulling, strong but soft at the same time, round and persistent.
Best served at around 16°C, enjoy this wine with red meats, grilled or braised, not spicy, lamb, pork or chicken.
